Lesson 1 – Grammar (Weeks 1‑7)

Noun phrases & clauses: structure, functions, relative & demonstrative elements

Full pronoun spectrum: personal, reflexive, reciprocal, possessive, indefinite, determiners

Adjectival & adverbial phrases/clauses; ordering & comparison of adjectives

Verb system: main vs auxiliary, tenses, verb forms

Sentence architecture: simple, compound, complex, compound‑complex; figurative expressions

Lesson 2 – Vocabulary Development (Weeks 8‑11)

Thematic word banks: health, body systems, science, environment, government, commerce, sports, entertainment, military, etc.

Meaning nuances: connotation vs denotation, synonyms, antonyms, homophones

Word relationships: collocations, idioms, collocational patterns

Word formation & spelling families (‑sede/‑ceed/‑cede)

Lesson 3 – Spoken English (Weeks 12‑15)

Consonant clusters & individual consonant sounds

Pure vowels & diphthongs with progressive drills

Syllable division, stress, emphatic stress, rhythm & intonation

Lesson 4 – Comprehension Passages (Weeks 16‑19)

Guided reading on health, technology, environment, folklore, military life, drought, etc.

Skills: skimming, scanning, inference, contextual meaning, author’s attitude, implied meaning

Critical‑thinking and evaluative questions

Lesson 5 – Writing (Weeks 20‑26)

Functional texts: formal, informal & semi‑formal letters; speeches; articles; summaries; note‑making

Essays: expository, argumentative, narrative

Creative genres: drama, poetry, free writing

Debate and toast preparations

Process writing: planning, drafting, revising; punctuation precision; model texts & peer review

Integrated Revision & Assessment (Weeks 27‑30)
